TITLE: Discarded Bride
MEDIUM: Porcelain doll parts,wire,oil paint.
COSTUME:Her dress is made from a LEGALLY OBTAINED,CLEAN used sheet from a funeral home.So her wedding dress is basically made from a burial shroud.The stains you see on the front of the dress are cleaned blood stains.Again the sheet is cleaned and sanitized.Her sleeves are made from antique lace.Her bridal bouquet is a hand sculpted dead tarantula.
SIZE: 16 X 9 inches.
NOTES:She is what is called a half doll,Her upper body is solid and her lower half is made from wire,sort of like a hoop skirt which also gives her dress shaped.
Here in Louisiana dreams of death and marriage are intertwined.If you dream of somebody getting married,it means someone will die.If you dream someone is dead,it means someone will marry.

I get request from allot of guys asking me to make some more masculine type designs.So this necklace is great for a guy or a girl.
All of my jewelry is hand made with vintage and or found components,making each a one of a kind work of art!
The little priest is hand cast,hand glazed and hand fired,so you can't get these anywhere else.The priest is glazed in black and white glaze.The necklace also features a silver toned crucifix with wood inlay,a virgin Mary rosary pendant with a Jobs Tear seed hanging off of it.Here in Louisiana we believe that if you hold a Job's tear seed and make a wish it will grant your wish.The seeds are called Job's Tears because they are believed to be the tears Job *in the bible* cried.
MEASUREMENTS: The whole necklace is 12 1/2 from end to end,the chain is about 9 inches and the priest doll is around 1 1/2 inches.

TITLE: A Old Blanket and a Withered Garden
MEDIUM:Paper clay,ceramic,clear glass eyes,cotton,string and a wooden base.The costume is made from one of my rotted childhood blankets which I allowed to decay in my garden where my pets who have passed on are buried.
SIZE: 16 X 12 inches.
STATUS: For sale 500.00
NOTE: Doll portrays the way we sometimes feel choked up and tied down to certain situations.The doll comes with it's base and is sitting on a latched,hinged trinket box that can be open and closed with the doll on top.The box also contains a secret message pasted on the inside only the buyer will see.There are also trinkets inside the hole in the dolls head.
Because of the eyes being clear glass depending on the way the light hits her,her eyes can sometimes look like they are following you.
Payment Plan is available:Doll is available for a payment plan.For around 80.00 each consecutive month,with a down payment of 50.00.A payment must be made EVERY month or you forfeit your item and are charged a 30.00 relisting fee.Also if you skip 3 months of payments you forfeit what you have paid on the time.I hate to be so strict about it but past experience have demanded it.E-mail me for info if you wish to purchase her on a payment plan.

TITLE: The Accusatory Doll
MEDIUM: Porcelain,china paint,crackle ceramic glaze,a sculpted red acrylic heart on her breast plate,wood and various antique nick nacks decorating the base.
COSTUME Black crepe fabric,and antique white fabrics and antique laces.Her human hair wig and leather shoes are all hand made.
SIZE: 24 X 12 inches
STATUS: For sale 500.00,you can find the doll up for sale on my site here Uglyart.net,a payment plan is available for her.
I covered her base with lots of different nick nacks even a jar of rusty old pins.Her costume took me forever because there was allot of hand sewing involved and it seems like I had to glaze,china paint and fire her 100 times before I got it the way I wanted it.

| Another Mary Doll Sneak Peek. |

I finally put my Mary,Mother of sorrows doll together and I made a dressing gown for her.Most of the Santo statues had painted "under dresses" or undergarments for the sake of modesty since they are of religious figures.I didn't want to take pic's of her till she at least her her under dress on.LOL.I figured I might as well wack together a temporary outfit out of some fabric craps I had since it was making me insane to see here standing on my floor all day in her night gown.Here is a quick shot of her.Hopefully I'll have some better pic's of her soon.I might try and shoot her outside so you can see her outfit better.
Her "real" outfit will be made as I come across fabric that will drape nicely.And likely when I can afford to get all the stuff for the outfit since some fabrics can be pricy.I'm also thinking of getting her a larger scared heart,the one she has now is satin and felt I just embroidered real quick.Now I have her put together of course I'm not all that impressed with her.I'm not a big fan of my own work.LOL
Not only am I unimpressed with my work the darned doll makes me nervous.I actually start sweating bullets when fooling with her because nice and or breakable things make me nervous.LOL

One of my new dolls I have yet to put up on my site for sale,he should be around 200.00 I haven't made up my mind if I like him as is or want to put a tangle of branches behind him as sort of a cradle.He's made of skin,dirt and cloth and around 12 inches.He's supposed to look like a ancient mummified child.
